Not so long ago, I read The Rosie Project by Greame Simsion. At first I hesitated as I don’t usually read romantic comedies but after giving it a chance, I finished reading the book with some laughs and an admiration for Don Tillman, a genius professor with an uptight personality and is a social hazard at large parties. But he’s really adorable in a dorky sort of way, so that when we learn of his project to find the perfect wife and meets Rosie, I couldn’t resist encouraging him in winning her back.
From what we know about the sequel, the story continues from where we left off. Don and Rosie are married and living in New York but they’re both expecting a baby (surprise!) and Don’s friend is now living with them after leaving his wife.
So without further ado, here’s Graeme Simsion talking about his next book, The Rosie Effect coming out on September 30. You can pre-order a copy from Chapters Indigo here.
