Waiting on Wednesday: Visions by Kelley Armstrong

visions by kelley armstrong

I am very excited as this is my first Waiting on Wednesday post I’ve written for this blog! After doing some research, I learned that Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine and spotlights anticipating new releases that we’re all excited to wait for.

My pick for this week is the sequel to Kelley Armstrong’s new older adult series called Cainsville! I’m really really really excited about this one because I absolutely LOVED her new book Omens. It was also the first book that introduced me to the author! Here’s what we know in her next book (written in my own words):

After Olivia Taylor-Jones and Gabriel, her lawyer, chase down a devious killer her parent’s names are cleared for the crimes they were falsely accused of. But things don’t go as well as they planned. As Olivia continues to hide in the secluded town of Cainsville, she suddenly learns about Gabriel’s past mistakes that cause a strain in their relationship. And at a time when Olivia needs him the most.

One day Olivia finds a dead woman in her car dressed to look exactly like Olivia. But suddenly the body vanishes and Olivia thinks it’s another bad omen. Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to leave a dead body in her car, and once again Olivia leaps into action to find answers behind this mystery.

As Olivia uncovers truths she also learns more secrets. Deep dark secrets that are closely guarded as someone doesn’t want them revealed.

Get your pre-order copy now on Chapters Indigo and Amazon! Visions is set to release on August 19 in Canada.
