Top Ten Most Anticipated New Fantasy Releases for the Second Half of the Year:

It feels good to be back again! Excuse me for the hiatus as I have been preoccupied, but now I’m back and ready to do another Top Tuesday! Talking about new releases is one of my favorite subjects because there are so many new fantasy books that are coming out later this year, including new titles that have been hyped about all over the Internet even before Book Con and BEA!

It’s so nice to do another Top Tuesday again! It’s been over a month since I last did the Top Tuesday that it feels like a huge relief to be back. I’m sorry I haven’t been very active on my blog. I was backtracked with reviews because of a long blogging slump that it was hard to return to my normal schedule again.

There are a lot of good books coming out in the spring so this is a good time to add upcoming releases to your TBR shelves. Below are new and old titles that I recently added from new debut books to collection of short stories, and mix of contemporary and fantasy titles.

Top Ten 2015 Releases I Meant to get to but didn’t:

Top Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the Broke and the Bookish and this week’s topic is releases that I meant to get to in 2015 but didn’t. 2015 is long gone and many of us are already prepping for the new releases that are coming out this year. But if you are a mood reader like I am, then you might have missed out on new books that came out last year but never meant to get to. Many of the 2015 releases that I meant to read I didn’t get to because of all the hype and excitement prior to and after the book’s release. With those kinds of books I like to wait a few months later before reading so that the hype doesn’t affect my judgment while reading the book. I also notice that with ongoing series there is a new trend where sequels are becoming thicker, which brings another problem: the time to sit and read the whole damn thing.

I am hoping to have another wonderful year of reading and exploring new debuts from new authors, discovering and re discovering new genres, and most of all, having fun with reading so many books!
